RedAlert Privacy Choices and Data Requests
Make a privacy request
You can ask about your RedAlert personal information, request access or correction, request deletion, or exercise another right available under applicable law. Email [email protected] with the subject "RedAlert privacy request." RedAlert is operated by MIRA Safety, LLC.
To delete your entire RedAlert account, email the same address with the subject "RedAlert account deletion." You do not need to reinstall the app or give a reason for leaving. The Account Deletion Policy at https://redalertus.com/legal/account-deletion explains what happens to your information.
What to provide
Tell us the type of request, the email address or sign-in identifier associated with RedAlert, and a contact address for our response. If you used Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, your account may use an Apple relay address. Identify a report or other record only if it helps us locate the information you mean.
We may verify that you are the account holder or are authorized to act for them. We use proportionate verification and request only what is reasonably necessary. Never send passwords, one-time codes, recovery codes, or push tokens. If an identity document is necessary, we will explain why and provide a secure submission method. Do not send it through ordinary email.
Available requests
Depending on the laws that apply, you may request confirmation of processing and access to information; correction; deletion; a portable copy; withdrawal of consent; restriction of processing; or an opt-out of sale, certain sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Some requests may be subject to lawful exceptions or may affect a feature that needs the information.
If applicable law permits an authorized agent, we explain the documentation or confirmation needed. We respond within the applicable legal timeframe and explain a denial and any appeal route available. To appeal a decision, contact [email protected] with the decision reference and the reason you seek review. You may also contact an appropriate regulator where that right applies. We do not unlawfully discriminate because you exercise a privacy right.
Choices you can make directly
Manage followed areas, categories, and available notification preferences in the app. Control notification and available device permissions in your operating-system settings. A permission change affects future access; it does not delete information already submitted.
Publishing a report anonymously hides the author display label but does not conceal report location, text, or media. Authorized administrators can still identify the account behind it.
